Tartar is not only aesthetically bothersome, but it can also be the cause of serious periodontal diseases. If tartar is not removed in time, the gums can become inflamed, and the structure of the periodontal tissues can be damaged, which in extreme cases can lead to loose teeth and tooth loss.
In-home teeth whitening involves taking impressions and making custom upper and lower silicone trays, which are filled with whitening gel. It is recommended to use these trays for 2-3 hours daily for 1-2 weeks. In-office teeth whitening takes about 1.5 hours and helps you smile confidently. During the procedure, we use a hydrogen peroxide-based gel, which is activated with a high-performance LED light for more effective results.
Teeth whitening only affects the natural teeth and does not whiten crowns, fillings, or dental restorations. If there is too much of a color difference, it may be necessary to replace crowns or fillings.
